Movie Time!

So this last weekend as a family we got to take Ethan to his very first movie in the movie theater. We did want his first movie to be the new Cars 2 coming out (cause he loves cars so much) but we thought it might be a good idea to really test out the movie sitting ability on a more low key movie first. So we took him to Rango. When we got to the theater he was pretty amazed at how big it was, all the poster, foods, and just plain coolness. Getting into the movie room it was empty well at first it was. We really thought we would get the whole place to our selves until a party group showed up. Yet even that wasn't a bad thing since it was families that have all done this first thing before so everyone was understanding. All in all he thought it was pretty cool to sit in a big chair with some popcorn in his lap watching a movie. He did very well up until the about the last 20 minutes. He started to get a little bored which was pretty good for a 1 1/2 hour movie. The movie itself was not bad. A little more adult then we thought, but it had some funny moments. Kevin and Ethan watching for the movie to start

Hey if they get a picture together so do I hes already snaking on the popcorn

After the movie we still had some time to kill before dinner so since the green fair was going on at the mall and there were tractors there we had to stop. He loves tractors and i think driving one might be in his future (just needs to be a bit bigger and older we will see).

Yummy

Yummy Yummy. So it was moms Birthday this last week and we got to have a tiny gathering at our place. Ethan was so excited it was a birthday party he didn't mind who's it was as long as he got to say happy birthday. Little does he know that his birthday is coming up next month (shh its dinosaur train themed). Lots of pictures to come on that. First here is a picture of the cake I got to make form mom. This was the first time I got to make this cake and it turned out very yummy indeed.

So I did put candles on the cake and Ethan couldn't wait to help blowing them out in fact as I was trying to light them he was blowing out my lighter. When we did get them lit Ethan got to sit on moms lap and help blow out the candles after we sang happy birthday. So they blew out the candles then Ethan got down proudly bowed and said "Thank You". What a ham. So this is going to be to much fun when his birthday comes around and I'm sure there will be more stories to tell.
